Some times it is useful to know what are the current trends in optics and physics. This list has been compiled by searching the titles of the papers in the e-print archive. The number in parenthesis is the cumulative number of papers that contain the given name in their titles. The assumption is that a portion of current physics has been classified after combinations such as Bose-Einstein condensate, Hall effect, Lamb shift, and so on. Certainly, this list is limited to physics derived from the work of the named physicists and does not include broader subject matter such as quantum optics, lasers, super conductivity, etc.
