SELECTED PATENTS
- F. J. Duarte, Optical device for rotating the polarization of
a light beam, US Patent 4822150 (18th of April, 1989).
- F. J. Duarte, Laser oscillator, US Patent 5181222 (19th of January,
1993).
- F. J. Duarte, Electro-optical interferometric microdensitometer
system, US Patent 5255069 (19th of October, 1993).
- F. J. Duarte, Laser sensitometer using multiple-prism beam expansion and a polarizer, US Patent 6236461 (22nd of May, 2001).
- F. J. Duarte, B. A. Reed, and C. J. Burak, Laser sensitometer, US Patent 6903824 (7th of June, 2005).
Note: the patents described as laser sensitometer provide the dual description of a laser printer. In them, laser beams are used to write on photo sensitive imaging materials. US Patent 6903824 refers to a multiple-wavelength high-speed laser system that exposes imaging materials in the nanosecond regime. All these patents have been reduced to practice.
